Editor, Skirt Magazine

Board Member, Activist, Writer

I'm on the Board of Improving Birth, a non-profit that advocates for safer birth for all. I collaborated on strategy, marketing and content creation for the #IsMomOk campaign. I write about birth and birthing peoples' rights for ImprovingBirth.org and help plan fundraising and awareness campaigns.

Activism, Publicity, Fundraising

Birth Monopoly offers education to doulas, birthing people and women about their rights within the US healthcare system.

I've worked with the startup on writing, editing, marketing, digital ads, media relations, business strategy, consulting and fundraising. Here's the Kickstarter campaign I collaborated on for Birth Monopoly's "Mother May I" documentary.

Skirt is a startup regional feminist magazine.

As the editor of Skirt Magazine Jacksonville, I oversaw the monthly print and daily online production of the startup magazine's content and events. I grew its social media channels from the ground up, managed its blog and website, and oversaw freelance writers and photographers.
